Katey's vocal range is from E below middle C to high C, belting to D. Her current repertoire ranges from classic musical theatre to Weill and Brel, Coward and Porter, mixed with numbers from shows in which she has starred. In addition to her extensive solo singing credits, Katey is also an experienced choral and a capella performer, with a strong ear for harmonies.

Katey's musical theatre credits cover a broad range of vocal styles, from Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (belt to D flat) to Amalia in She Loves Me (soprano to high B). She has also frequently been invited to perform in benefits, fundraisers, and other concert-style events, and to workshop original musicals.
